With shoegaze guitar tones and a drummer lead singer, indie grunge quartet Morbid Orchid is a Nashville outlier. Marked by dynamics and precision, the band’s eclectic live show transitions from loud to soft, from thrashy punk to swaggering blues to straightahead indie rock — all underpinned by a strong pop sensibility and male/female harmonies. The band’s second album IDLE EYES is due in 2024.
